FDA approved micro-needling device can be used on multiple areas of the body, face, neck, décolleté, hands, arms legs, back. The repair process is accelerated by the formation of microscopic channels, which allow products to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin. A sterile disposable cartridge containing 12 tiny micro-needles is attached to the tip of the pen. A layer of topical serum is applied to the skin and the pen is glided across the area in a gentle motion. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes or longer, depending on the size of the area to be treated.

 

The unique design of the micro-needling device allows for individual settings, which makes the treatment comfortable. Topical numbing may also be applied prior to the treatment. The number of treatments recommended for most patients is 6, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. For patients with deep wrinkles, advanced photo aging, stretch marks or acne scarring the recommendation may be 6 to 8 treatments, at 4 to 6 week intervals.
